Larry's Fight For Life

To all of those who know and love Larry Biggins, we are asking for your help through prayers and support. Many of us know Larry as a friend and a great football player from South Cobb High School, Class of 1983.  Others know him from West Point, Class of 1987 where he also played football and was known as "Scary-Larry".  Many fellow soldiers and comrades will know him as a fellow army veteran, who honorably served in the Persian Gulf War C-Battery 1-41FA 24th Infantry Division. Currently, he is also known to others as their loyal tax preparer that always goes the extra mile. But more importantly, Larry is known as a loving, devoted family man and a father of 5 beautiful children.

Larry is a diabetic and has been going to dyalisis three times a week for the past 2 years and is in need of a new kidney. But Larry is a fighter and has been known to work on his client's taxes even while receiving dialysis. He has been in and out of the hospital especially over the last 6 months enduring many surgeries and medical procedures. Currently, he is  battling a very bad infection which has caused a GI Bleed, Sepsis and Anemia. These conditions combined cause a life threatening drop in blood pressure which slows down his much needed dialysis and has caused him to need many blood transfusions. He is also unable to take pain medication due to the blood pressure and this causes him to be in extreme pain. Once his infection has healed, he will need a skin graft.  

Larry works as a Tax Preparer and this is the busiest time of the year and the time he earns most of his yearly income.  He needs to be working to provide for his family but due to his illness, he is unable to do so. The family is in desparate need of help to pay for day to day bills, food and keeping a roof over their head. As you can imagine, they also need help with current medical bills as well as long term medical bills.  Larry fought for our country and now he is fighting for his life.
