Remembering Larry Morrissey

My name is Joe Mauro, I am Larry’s cousin and I’m writing on behalf of our family.

On December 22, 2015 we lost a great person- Larry Morrissey was only 38 years old. He was loved by many and now it’s time to give back to our friend, cousin, son, godfather, nephew, brother and favorite taxi driver so that he may get the send off he deserves.


In reading the condolences and kind words left on Larry’s Facebook page it does not take much to realize that he was loved by all. A common theme among all sentiments was that Larry was kind & generous; a gentle soul; a caring, loyal friend. One writer said he was “a beacon of light”. Larry had a way of touching a soul; he made everyone he spoke to feel special and made us all better people.  Larry will leave behind a legacy which will never be forgotten.
