Hi, My name is Gina Mckinney, eldest daughter of Larry McKinney, former detective with Washington County Sheriffs office, Hillsboro, Oregon.
Larry passed away very unexpectedly this past week. My siblings and I are asking for donations to help us cover the costs that we were not prepared for. We are asking for this help to cover burial service and funeral cost.
As a youth, Larry was an Explorer Scout for Washington County. In 1972, after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany as a military police. In 1978 he was hired by Washington County as a dispatcher then Sheriffs deputy working his way up to Detective. Larry then retired in 2004 and so enjoyed being Papa to his five beautiful granddaughters!
