Larnie's big shave for N/a’an ku sê

Donation protected
I’m incredibly excited to announce that I am shaving my head for a great cause! In 2016 I travelled to Namibia and volunteered for a month with the N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary. It was here that I discovered a place where I felt most at home, and that is why 1 year later I have decided to shave my head in order to raise funds for an elephant GPS Collar that costs $3500.

I will live stream my head being
shaved on Instagram once I raise $3500 and I will allow 5 months to reach my goal. My local watering hole, 56 BRICKS (@56brickswindsor) will host the event for my head shave the following Wednesday that we reach $3500. My Instagram name is @itsbritneybitch07 (2007 was the year Britney Spears shaved her head) so feel free to follow everything that goes down! And just an FYI, I may laugh, or cry, but shaving my head has been a bucket list item for quite a while and this is such a brilliant organisation that I would love to raise money for in the process!!

This wonderful company will use the data collected from the GPS Collar to gather crucial information on the elephant herd's movements, to develop a better understanding of Namibia’s elephant population and prevent conflict in the area. The N/a’an ku sê Foundation relies solely on donations, and I will be working directly with them in the hope of raising a total of $3500.

These innocent elephants are in real danger, they are classified as Vulnerable and need all the help we can give them. N/a’an ku sê stands at the forefront of human-wildlife conflict mitigation by undertaking critical conservation research into the majestic wildlife. Their vision is an Africa where humans and wildlife can live and thrive together. Their mission is to conserve the land, cultures and wildlife of Namibia and rescue species threatened by an ever-shrinking habitat.
