LANZETTI CELLO SONATAS RECORDING

My name is Agnieszka Oszanca, I am Italy based Polish baroque cellist.  After many years of concert performances given solo as well as a member of distinguished European early music ensembles, having recorded multiple CDs with my chamber music groups and orchestras, I have finally decided to record a solo CD, completely devoted to my instrument and the music written by one of the most extraordinary cellist in the history of the Violoncello.

Together with a group of the most fantastic artists from Poland and Italy, we have recorded six sonatas by Salvatore Lanzetti, one of my favourite 18th-century cellists-composers. My fellow musicians were Fabio Bonizzoni on harpsichord Maria Misiarz on cello and Gabriele Palomba on theorbo. The recording sessions took place in a beautiful concert/recording hall in  Crema and have been recorded by Andrea Friggi in the role of our sound technician. Now we will focus on listening to all the recorded material and soon the editing process will take off. The CD will be published in May 2019 by the esteemed Dutch label Challenge Records. It is a really exciting international project!



A good CD recording is always costly, the budget includes:
- the costs of the venue rental fee
- the costs of the publisher  (label)
- recording technician's fee
- the fees of musicians, including flights and lodging
-transport of the instruments and recording equipment to the venue, and this time it will also include the costs of the awards which will be granted to you for supporting our cause!

The sum of 700 euros is a meaningful part of the entire sum needed in order to finance the project. We will be most grateful for your help and donations, even the smallest. In return, you can expect that this project will be crowned with a high-quality recording of the beautiful, exciting repertoire, not very well known to the general public.
