Language Development Trip to Madrid

I am currently an International Baccalaureate Careers Program student at the International School of The Hague. As part of my studies, I take a Language Development class and, with your help, have the opportunity to study for five days in Madrid.
Itinerary: While in Madrid we will visit The Royal Palace, The Almudena Cathedral, The Plaza Mayor, La Puerta del Sol, The Reina Sofia Museum, The Prado Museum and “Retiro Park” where we will enjoy a picnic with some of the best “Bocadillos” in Madrid.
We will also take a couple of day trips: One to the historic and UNESCO Heritage city of Toledo by bullet train, where we will have an opportunity to visit the 12th-century St. Mary’s Synagogue, Toledo’s Gothic Cathedral, The Alcazar, The Church of Santo Tomé and Greco’s House to view “El Entierro del Conde de Orgaz” one of El Greco’s supreme achievements. The second day trip will be to Segovia where we will have the opportunity to admire the Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the best-preserved monuments on the Iberian Peninsula.
We will also visit to the Real Madrid Bernabeu Stadium and Museum and we will have the opportunity to cook our own Spanish meal during a cooking class given by a Spanish Chef!
During the day and in the evenings we will also enjoy several social activities together, we will go out for a Flamenco night at the famous “Casa Patas”, and we will have the best chocolate con churros in Madrid at “Chocolatería San Gines” and go out for tapas at el “Mercado San Miguel.” I have also been given secret permission to try McDonalds while in Madrid since I like to try it in every country I visit!
