Langston is making GREAT strides. He is currently attending CSUN, majoring in music technology. He is speaking to schools throughout the Los Angeles and Ventura county school districts regarding drug prevention and awareness.
It's crazy that this even needs to be done... but after everything Langston has endured and overcome he was originally denied SSI benefits and Medicare insurance. They are in the process of appealing the decision with the assistance of legal council.
However, in the meantime, my mother has been left with no other option but to pay $1200/month, for almost the past two years to cover his weekly physical therapy, occupational therapy and various neurologist and pain prevention appointments.
I know my mother is strong and resilient and able to "make things happen", however, with her devoting 95% of her time to help get my brother the medical, educational and rehabilitation help he needs to make a full recovery; I want to try to get support of those who know what we've been through to assist in raising money to help relieve some stress to cover these astronomical medical expenses.
