Landon's Fight

My beautiful 2 year old nephew was recently diagnosed with Pre B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
His mom became worried when he started limping around, his skin was pale as snow, he was losing weight and he had a rash all over his body. His parents brought him into Community Medical Center Monday night to find out what was wrong with their baby boy. After 12+hours of hospitalization, a bone marrow biopsy, and a blood transfusion, this family’s world came tumbling down.
Pre B Lymphoblastic Leukemia is RAPID GROWING cancer of the blood that starts in the bone marrow and spreads to the bloodstream. Leukemia develops because of a mutation in a white blood cell that causes it to multiply uncontrollably. These mutated white blood cells, called “blasts” take over the bone marrow and crowd out normal blood cells.
In the short time he has been in the hospital, this little baby has been through more tests and treatment than you can imagine. But somehow he still manages to smile.
He and his family have no choice but to stay with him in the hospital for atleast a month. After that, to beat this cancer, he will need years of medications, check ups, blood testing and chemotherapy.
His mother and father have no choice but to spend their nights with him and their infant daughter. Neither can work and with traveling, medical, and other expenses, money is becoming tight for them.
Please consider supporting Landon and his family in their desperate hour of need. His little body is fighting and all anyone can do is lend their support and help.
They will be spending Christmas in the hospital watching Landon's tiny body fight this terrible disease. If you can find it in your hearts to help, it could
Every dollar counts.
