LaDonna experienced a severely strenuous year during 2016-2017; due to poor outcomes at her children's school, she began home-schooling her children while she worked part-time, her apartment was broken into numerous times, the building's superintendent would not change the locks as requested, there was a drive-by shooting into her apartment building, the neighbor above her was found dead in his apartment (unrelated to drive-by), her neighbor across the hall was involved in drug dealings, bloodly fist fights, and OD'ed. The police were at the apartment building regularly.
In addition to these, her divorce became finalized, she became a single parent with no support from the father.
As a result of these trials, LaDonna went through a period of mental and emotional crisis. In the recovery process, she has engaged with traditional treatment and there has been partial improvement.
I have researched a program developed and ran by an Adventist physician Dr. Neil Nedley, which focuses on the social, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of recovery and deals with the core issues that are associated with depression and anxiety. Dr. Nedley’s program was recommended to me by someone who went through and benefited from the program. I believe the comprehensive nature of this program will yield full improvement for my sister.
