Ladd Wessels Medical Expenses

I am starting this GoFundMe page in hopes of helping a dear friend of ours who is dealing with a VERY rare blood infection that has caused Endocarditis and extensive damage to his heart valves.  Ladd is having Open Heart Surgery to correct the valves, but has other challenges with kidneys and the liver stabilizing to do the work needed.
There will be extensive bills from the hospitalization, as well as follow up care, recovery and absence from work.

"Ladd was admitted into St. Lukes Hospital on Wednesday June 14th with, what was later identified as (bacterial endocarditis) a strep bacterial infection. The infection affected his liver, spleen, colon, kidneys, gall bladder and most importantly his heart valves. On Friday the 16th Ladd's breathing became increasingly labored and after several xrays, scans and blood work it was discovered the mitral and aortic valves were perforated and he needed advanced medical care. He was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Ladd is fighting hard and will win this battle!"

There have been numerous ups and downs, but we
continue to be positive and pray for healing and recovery.
