LA Marathon for Rett Syndrome

Tax deductible
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

I'm running the LA Marathon on March 24th in honor of a close family friend, Holly Garbinski and in support of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation and their fight against the disorder.  Rett syndrome is a rare non-inherited genetic postnatal neurological disorder that occurs almost exclusively in girls and leads to severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of the child’s life (https://www.rettsyndrome.org/about-rett-syndrome).

The core mission of the IRSF is to fund research for treatments and a cure for Rett syndrome while enhancing the overall quality of life for those living with Rett syndrome by providing information, programs, and services.  100% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in honor of Holly.  Your donations and support will help improve the quality of life for all those affected by the disorder and assist in research efforts to find a cure.

Many thanks for your support!  And please don't forget to forward this to anyone you think might also want to donate!
