Hi, my name is Tiffany Venning, i'm 18 years old and have been selected to represent Australia in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships.
The World Championships will be held in Jaca, Spain on the 7-13th March 2015. I will be traveling to Prague, Czech Republic in Feburary for a training camp in preperation for worlds.
I am proud to represent my country and focused on bring home gold, but ice hockey is a low profile sport in Australia and receives only little funding. In result of this, each player pays their own way in which to wear the green and gold and follow my dream, in order to play I must pay $4,800 in costs associated with training camps, equipment and travel expenses.
Any donations towards my fees to help me get to Spain would be greatly appeciated! It is hard to pay so much to play the sport I love and to represent my country.
