Hi,
My name is Kyle Vincent Washington. I am 31 years old. I am the father of three beautiful children (ages 11, 9, and 3). I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Nasopharyngeal cancer. It's an agressive cancer and I start chemotherapy and radiation next week (~12/01).
I am raising money for expenses related to my diagnosis. For the past 2 weeks I have been in the hospital every day for scans, procedures, and follow ups, being poked and prodded. Of course, I cannot work at this time, but I still have the daily normal expenses (shelter, food, toiletries, clothing, transportation, gas, etc., etc.). Also, one urgent need is a bed. I actually had 2 surgeries last week for my feeding tube and for the port cath (so the doctors can stop sticking me in my veins in my arms) and I need a bed to sleep in as soon as possible. UPDATE: We purchased a bed! I am coming here asking for help because I am clean out of options. Trying to make ends meet without being able to work proves to be nearly impossible, but my cousin tells me to have faith in humanity. She told me about this GoFundMe page. I am old school so this is all a little intimidating, yet here I am.
My plan is to kick cancer's ass. I am a child of God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
My biggest motivation for fighting is so that I can watch my 3 beautiful children grow up. We sometimes forget just how much the little things mean (like arguing with your teenager about how much they use their cell phone). I want to be here in 2 years When Kyle Jr. becomes a teenager.
