Help with Kyle's Cancer Recovery

Hello friends, family and all good Samaritans out there.
I’m asking for your help on behalf of my best friend, Kyle McCrae.
For the past two years he has been battling a rare cancer called Epitheliod sarcoma. Sarcomas make up only 1% of all newly diagnosed cancers, and Kyle’s specific type has an even lower rate of diagnosis. It was found in his right wrist after he went to get a lump inspected, and has since been aggressively attacking his soft tissue and spreading through his arm.
For two years he has been in and out of treatment for biopsies, localized radiation, and tumour and lymph node removal surgeries.
Despite all the efforts to remove the cancer, they found multiple tumours spreading in his arm two weeks ago and had no other choice but to amputate above the elbow.
Here is the good news: his prognosis for the future looks very promising, and none of the treatments have managed to put a dent in his spirit. He’s still the same loud, life-of-the-party extrovert we all love. His strength and will to live has been incredibly inspiring to myself and anyone who has come into contact with him, but as Kyle would say, he has no choice but to remain strong. Battling cancer can be a traumatic and lonely experience. He loves life more than anyone I know.
The bad news is Kyle has not been able to work for the last year. His employment insurance has run dry and he is in debt. He is currently applying for disability benefits. He is unsure as to when he will be able to return to work, as his rehabilitation and recovery is quite intensive.
We are asking for any assistance you can spare to help him through this tough time. I would love to see financial stress removed from his life so that he can focus on recovery and not worry about rent and food.
I will leave the final words to him:
“This all seems like it’s not real. I pride myself on being tough, independent, and generous. I refuse to let this cancer take any of that away from me. The decision to ask for help has been one of the most difficult parts of this whole experience.
