Kyle Johnson Medical Expenses

My name is Tammy and I am just a mom who cares about a hurting family in our community. 

This GoFund Me account was created to help the Kyle Johnson family with medical, travel and living expenses while Kyle is in rehabilitation. Karen is the only caretaker of Kyle and has three other children and her husband at home. I know the family would be grateful for any amount you could donate.

My life changed forever on Monday,  October 17th...not on the 16th the night my child ran out in front of a car on Memorial Parkway.  I didn't know about the accident until the next day when I had an unimaginable urge to look at the local news headlines.  As soon as I read the words "18 year old pedestrian struck by vehicle"....My Momma's heart knew it was Kyle.  Then the nightmare began.  I arrived at Huntsville Hospital to discover that he had sustained life threatening injuries and they couldn't guarantee his survival.  In addition to numerous lacerations of many internal organs, broken ribs the collapsed lung, a dissected cart aroid artery he had also suffered from 3 separate major brain bleeds on 3 different levels of his brain. 

Here we are almost 2 weeks later and my child is proving he is a fighter!!  All of the physical injuries are healing but due to the amount of injury to his brain, we are facing an uncertain future which starts with Rehab.  I'm not sure where we are heading for this...alot of places don't know how to deal with the 3 separate injuries.  But no matter where we go, we need your prayers and your help so I can travel with Kyle and stay by his side as he faces the hardest battle of his life, getting his life back!! My Husband Chris and I have 3 other kids at home who want their brother back soon...
