Myself & my niece Alex are hosting an evening of good food & entertainment in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK & the Tavistock Branch on 13th October at Abbey Sands Hotel, Torquay.
Muscular Dystrophy UK support families with MD & research the condition in the hope of one day finding a cure. To continue their important work, funding is crucial.
Tavistock Muscular Dystrophy Group has for over 30 years provided an annual holiday for young people with the condition in Devon & Cornwall. It’s a great opportunity for them to get away & have fun whilst their families get a rest. The group is reliant on fundraisers & it costs £14,000 each year.
I myself have a form form of Muscular Dystrophy & I like to give back so if you’re unable to attend but wish to support us, please donate as much as you can afford.
