Please help the Franco Family

Anne and Ludvin Franco met in 2011.  Since Ludvin was in the US as an undocumented immigrant, they almost immediately began seeking legal advice on the steps they could take to change his status.  Different lawyers gave different opinions, but all advised not to try any paperwork until years down the line.  Anne and Ludvin married in December 2013, and Max and Javi were born in April 2015.  All the while, Ludvin's desire to change his status grew stronger.  In August 2016, they spoke with a final immigration attorney, who advised Anne to file a petition requesting Ludvin to be allowed in the country as her husband.  Final paperwork was filed in November of that year.

In February 2017, Anne and Ludvin found out they were expecting their third child.  At this time, they were awaiting a response from USCIS on the petition filed.  They were hopeful and optimistic.  On April 8, they received a notice stating that the paperwork was transferred to a new office that had jurisdiction over their area.  However, on April 18, 2017, while being driven to work, Ludvin was apprehended by Immigration officers and placed in York County Prison.

Ludvin fought his deportation order, and filed to seek asylum.  However, on July 26, Ludvin's case was denied and he was ordered to be deported as soon as possible.  On August 4, Ludvin arrived back in Guatemala.

Ludvin was the main provider for his family, so things have been financially difficult for Anne while he has been away.  She and the boys are in the process of moving out of their home, and trying to figure out where their future is.  They plan to take a trip to see Ludvin in Guatemala, before Anne is too far along in her pregnancy to travel.  Ludvin will now have to miss the birth of his first daughter.

Any funds raised through this Go Fund Me will help Anne with paying the final bills at the house they are moving out of, as well as purchase plane tickets, which are between $500-$700 each.  Any savings the Francos had, including Anne's 401k fund, have been used throughout the last 4 months.  While it is extremely difficult to ask for help, the Francos will be beyond grateful for any that is given.
