Honoring the loving memory of Jennifer

Donation protected
On January 19, 2019 a gently loving, caring, kind-hearted mother of four, sister of two, and friend to so many, suddenly and unexpectedly transitioned out of her physical form, leaving the ones she meant so much to broken, lost and confused.

Jennifer was the embodiment of the divine mother: full of unconditional love, acceptance and smiles that deeply affected anyone who was blessed with the opportunity to share her company.

She cared immensely for her children. Anyone that knew Jennifer can attest to her unwavering dedication and support of her children; mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and, to whatever capacity she could, financially.

In the last several years, Jennifer, with the encouragement and guidance of her children, was beginning to experience her life in a new and profound way. She was discovering a deep sense of purpose and cultivating the transformational power of love in all of her relationships. She was actively facing and accepting her traumas and shadows, understanding that for her to help heal the world, she needed to heal herself.

She succeeded in her desire to be an example for her children, displaying the rapid growth and transformation possible when we look deeply within ourselves. She was a shining beacon of love and dedication to those she cared for, lending her compassion and attention to well intentioned individuals who needed a friend. Her contributions have been a catalyst to so many who she opened her heart and home to.

Words from her youngest daughter Hannah, who is 17 years old, at her mother's memorial service:
“Ever since I found out what happened, colors have been brighter, and I can feel my mom in the wind, and in the sun when it touches my skin. I can feel her love constantly, and I can feel her guiding me. . .and not a single day will go by that I won’t miss her”

Nothing can change the unfortunate fact that her beautiful children will spend the rest of their lives without her, or that the friends and family who loved her so dearly will never see her inspiring smile again; but the support of an actively caring community that has been moved by Jennifer’s loving guidance, will continue to enable them to move forward from this tragic loss. For her children to pursue their passions and share their gifts, to heal themselves and help heal the world in return, just as their mother had, it is necessary that we unite in support of their family.

All money raised will go directly to her children to assist in expenses related to Jennifer’s passing, her children’s living expenses, continued educations, and the family’s plans to spread her ashes and plant numerous trees in her honor.

Any additional funds raised will be directed toward  causes that Jennifer passionately believed in and sought to promote for the good of planet earth and its inhabitants.

For a deeper look at her life; we attached some photos with descriptions below so you could get a feel for her loving spirit, and for all those closest to her.

Jennifer, her son Sean, youngest daughter Hannah, and oldest daughter Mariah on their last trip all together to Big Bear where they spent the day in nature, digging for crystals. They are all so close, shared such similar interests, and enjoyed their time together so deeply.

Jennifer's joy when she spent time with her children..

On her last trip to visit her son Sean, they were up late watching videos of incredible crystal miners in Inyo county..through their discussion of how much they would love to go mining, Jen suggested they go right then and there. At 2 in the morning, they packed up their car with their tools, grabbed some "yerba buenas" and hit the road..the picture below is of their blissful faces as mother nature treated them to a magical sunrise after a night of digging together. Jen always lived her life with a spontaneous nature, and cherished every moment she had to spend with her son.

About a year ago, Jennifer and Sean started a business together called Matrix Rocks and Gems, for them to buy, trade, and sell crystals and minerals from all over the world. This is the two of them vending together at a farmers market in Mammoth Lakes, California. The happiness they felt when together was truly a sight to see.

Jennifer and, Sean and Mariah spending time on the beach together on the Oregon Coast. They were there looking for driftwood for Jens business she was starting called Mother Love Creations, in which she was turning driftwood into living art with succulents.

She took every fallen babe and nurtured them into baby succulents to continue creating these works of heart.

Last November, Mariah left Hawaii to come visit her mom and sister. This was the last time that Mariah spent with her mother before she passed away.

Mariah painted this card for Jennifer for mothers day last year. The connection that they shared was one that everyone desires to have with their nurturing guide in life. The light that they saw their mother in was such a gift, as Jen did everything in her power to be there for them in every way that she could.

Jen went to visit Mariah in Hawaii just before the eruptions last year. Let the beautiful sunset behind them serve as a visual representation of the beautiful friendship between them.

Jen and her baby girl, Hannah. Jen, after feeling like she needed to be here for her daughter, just recently moved back to the bay area to be closer to her. Hannah is almost out of high school, and ready to take huge strides in the world with her creative endeavors that her mother supported whole-heartedly. Hannah is so much like her mother in her creativity and courageous spirit. We have all been so inspired and humbled by Hannah's strength throughout this process.

When Jen moved up north she and her daughter Hannah decorated, and set up her new art studio where she planned to make her living works of heart. This was a special project between the two of them and the memories Hannah has of these moments will forever be held close to her heart.

This photo was taken of her three children in her studio before they began to transport all of her art.

Jennifer adopted one of Sons best friends, Mikey many years ago. Mikey was in need of a friend, and Jen showed up for him as a nurturing, loving mother. She took him in and treated him like her own. This photo was taken on their most recent dinner date with he and his partner Pandora. Jen would check in with them often, years after Mikey and Sean 'grew up' and moved out of her home.

Jennifer's children really loved and appreciated the music of Mike Love. Jen naturally enjoyed his uplifting spirit that transferred through his sounds and into your heart. This is a picture of all of them together with Mike Love at his concert years ago.

The last time that Sean was with his mother. This is a picture from his trip to northern California for christmas this year. He spent three days with his mother and sister, hiking, cooking, laughing and enjoying their time together. The last evening they all spent together was on Fish Ranch Road in Berkeley, CA. As the sunset over the San francisco bay,  Hannah and Jennifer worked on art together and Sean was practicing with his poi and listening to music.

Being led by her spirit the whole time, Jennifer's children found the most beautiful spot within nature to hold the service in her honor. It was deep in the woods, among giant redwoods and moss-covered trees. The scenery was magical to say the least, and those who gathered there to honor her were so deeply moved by  the similar sentiments that everyone shared about her.  Below are photos of the altar that was set up, containing art of hers, art from her children, pictures, and crystals from her, her children, and all friends and family who desired to add something to the spread of love.

Jennifer's children hugging her mother Donna, after Donna's speech honoring her daughter.

Jennifer's sister Alicia got such an outpouring of messages when people heard the news about her sister, that she decided to share some special moments that were sent her way. People from Jennifer's developmental years, when she was in kindergarden and on, expressed how deeply they appreciated Jen's kindness, and that her generosity has stuck with them for all of their lives.. Her entire life, she has led with such loving tenderness, acceptance and gratitude for all that she encountered and learned from.  The world will never be the same without you, Jennifer.

On the walk from the service site to the spot where we planted a blue sequoia redwood in her honor..the sun pierced through the clouds and shined down on the manzanita bushes along the trail. So many of Jennifer's favorite things in one picture..

Her two boys, Sean & Mikey, along with her brother Chris and one of Sean's best friends Michael opening up the roots of this tree so that it can transfer into the soil with ease. Her nephew Cai was a witness, curious about the process and standing by in support of his family.

After planting the tree, her children offered their love to the soil. The connection that these three share is incredible. All because of the love that they shared with their role model, mother and best friend, Jennifer.

Her brother Chris, whom she was very close with, offering his support to her daughter Hannah and to the soil that now holds this tree in Jen's honor.

Chris and Jen's nephew, Shore sharing a hug after the tree had been planted. This family's support for one another is a profound sight to see.

Jennifer's love will continue to spiral out into the world. With your help, her children can push through this hard time and be reminded of the importance of being in service, and offering a helping hand when you can; just as their mother lived her life doing. Jennifer created this art with rocks on the beach, as her ever expanding heart never stopped giving, growing, and loving. Neither will ours. Thank you from the depths of our hearts for honoring her beautiful spirit this way.
