MIRACLE FIELD CHALLENGE
We cannot change or cure the medical issues life has dealt disabled children. What we can do, is provide them with the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from our National pastime- baseball. I started in June 2014 at the age of 17 to raise money to build a special field called a Miracle Field for disabled children to play our national pastime so they could enjoy the experience. I started the fundraising as my graduation project when I witnessed a Challenger game and the difficulties these players face playing on a soft dirt field. To date, I have raised over $104,000 for the field but am a long way off from getting the field built. Adults always say, "we do it for the kids" and kids, think how much your parents sacrifice and do for you. Now lets come together and do it for the kids who do not have the same opportunities.
I, Kevin Barron, believe that EVERY child deserves the chance to play baseball so I will start the challenge and donate $20 to help build a Miracle Field for Challenger baseball players. I CHALLENGE YOU to donate a minimum of $5 towards the Miracle Field project to allow kids with disabilities the chance to play the sport of baseball with the same amount of joy as everyone else. Then I want you to nominate at least 5 friends to donate and pass it along too. You wont even miss the $5 you donate towards this great cause and you will help AWESOME PEOPLE and together we can make a dream become a reality.
