Dearest Family and Friends,
Story: My name is Kier Evergreen and I am Kristina's sister who currently resides in Washington. There are no words to express the heartbreak and grief felt by knowing in the coming days our family will lose our Daughter/Sister to cancer. Kristina Marie Smedberg was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer only months before her 32nd birthday. As of this week the cancer has progressed beyond what medically can be treated.
Request:In the past four months Kristina and the family have endured more emotional and financial stress than is bearable. During this incredibly difficult time we are asking for donations to assist in covering the unexpected costs of funeral expenses so that we can properly make arrangements for Kristina.
Summary:Please help our family through this painful time as we begin grieving the loss of our beloved Kristina. Our family appreciates any donations and blessings that will allow for us to grieve without the worry of the financial constraints that have come as a result of this cancer. We want to be able to lay Kristina’s beautiful soul to rest and honor her the best way we can. Donations will be given directly to the funeral home chosen with any remaining funds given to the Smedberg Family directly to cover additional misc costs accumulated as a result of this horrible cancer.
