38460266_1556316637556956_r.jpegHello, many of you know me already, for those of you who do not know me
my name is Debbie Copeland. Today I am here pleading for help for my
amazing daughter and my beautiful grandchildren. My daughter's name is
Kristi DeAnda and she is a single mother of a 4-year-old special needs
boy who is autistic and a 22-year-old son. Tragedy struck our family on
4/8/2019 when Kristi was rushed to the hospital with "blood in the brain
and between the skull". This condition pushed her brain over. Barely
clinging to life by the time she had reached the hospital she had
already gone into a coma upon arrival. Quickly she was rushed in to have
emergency brain surgery and by the grace of God, she survived.

Prior to Kristi being hospitalized she was a devoted and loving a mother
to both of her children. Kristi very proudly held a position as a
restaurant manager and loved her job. She was always quite active.
During her spare time, she would help me with my letter writing service
supporting President Donald Trump. I would handle the letters and she
would handle the computer work. This was a great mother/daughter bonding
time for us both and we miss doing this together.

Everyone loves Kristi and she is needed here with us for as long as we
can keep her. She has a long road ahead to recovery. Her condition does
not allow for her to be employed which leaves her in a dire position to
provide for her children and to keep a roof over their heads. We are
kindly requesting the help of family, friends, and strangers to help
Kristi through this very difficult and trying time in her life. Recovery
may take several years and every dime raised will go a long way to
helping her get there. A donation from you helps keep this family
together, food on the table, a roof over their heads, and peace of mind
for Kristi, myself, and my grandchildren. I am doing the best I can to
hold it all together for her but we need assistance. Please, if you can
make a donation we will be forever grateful. If you cannot make a
donation we kindly ask that you share our story with your friends and
family with the hope that they may donate or share our story further.

Thank you and God Bless!

Hi everyone. For those of you who have been following our story, heres a quick update on Kristi's progress. Shes having an issue with insurance, so shes not been able to get her therapy. Thats been slowing her progress. She needs that therapy! The good news is shes gotten her balance back, and so has been able to walk with a cane from room to room without assistance, so that's good! The doctors had said she might not walk again. So shes proved them wrong on that! On her right side, she can now move 3 fingers and her thumb, but still nothing from her right arm! So its difficult to do anything with the right side and shes right- handed, so lifes been more challenging. Its hard to take care of her 4 yr old autistic boy, so its been hard on the whole family. She still needs all of the prayers and help she can get! We want to thank all of you who have helped us out so far! We dont know what we wouldve done without you! All of your donations have been much appreciated! Please share our story with your friends and family and on facebook and Twitter, because getting the word out helps alot! Please give what you can. Every bit helps! God bless you all and your families!!
Stay tuned for new pics later.

Kristi came home! Yaaay! For those of you who have been following her story, i wanted to give you an update. She finally came home after being in the hospital for 3 weeks and then in rehab for about 4 weeks. It's been a long road to recovery, with still a long road ahead. Kristi can walk but only with a cane for
now. And only with assistance, she has to have someone with her at all times so she doesnt fall! She's still struggling to regain use of her right arm. Shes happy to be home, but still goes to rehab. We really appreciate all of you who have given and have been so supportive! Kristi isn't able to work or drive, and hasnt gotten her disability yet, it takes a long time to go through. So the family needs all the help you can give, for all the extra expenses, bills, food, caring for her boys., every day costs are overwhelming with less money coming in since she can't work right now. We appreciate all of your generosity and kind words! Please give what you can, and share her story! Thank you so much! God bless you all!!

Kristi is plugging along with her physical, cognitive(brain), and behavioral therapy, its alot of work! Very tiring on her, she said its hard on your person. And its hard on us, her family to see her go through it, its hard to watch someone you love have to learn to walk again. Her right side is still partially paralyzed, so that is why she needs SO much therapy and is still not home, she'll still have alot of therapy once she gets home too. She feels like its going slow but shes making progress. Its been a long process thus far and still have a long way to go!. We really appreciate everyone's donations and prayers! She needs all the help she can get. Your donations and support are helping keep this family afloat and helping to alleviate some stress throughout this difficult time! Please keep sharing her story, and thank you so much! God bless you all, friends and family and everyone who donated who we dont even know!. Its so nice to see when caring people pull together to help each other out!! May God bless you all!! Ive updated her pic too so you can see her. She was able to see her boys for Mothers day! , so that made her smile! Pics attached.
