Help me breathe - Living with Lupus

Hello, I'm Sheri (LupusDiva) from Twitter. I'm better known as @osaxy. (I used to be a local professional musician and Tenor Sax was my main instrument for that.) Now you know why I'm called @osaxy. 
After working while sick for 30 years, I am now disabled from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, or Lupus for short, plus many other debilitating illnesses.
It embarrasses me to ask, however, I am asking my friends to send just $1.00 to help me breathe. We have had a discrepancy with our electric power company (Southern California Edison) for awhile now. At this point they have turned our power off. They will not turn it back on or look into any further discrepancies until they receive $7000.00 in one lump sum. All of our monthly payment offers have been turned down. This is all legal in California.
During this time, my husband has not been doing well from his 2014 stroke and he also lost his job so income and insurance for my medication is dropping too. Summer is nearly here. It's going to be hot. We are already having days over 90°F. It makes breathing more difficult. Plus my Lupus, Sjogrens, Migraines, Fibromyalgia, Asthma, Sleep Apnea and many more illnesses are truly making this a tough situation.
I require a CPAP machine and oxygen to breathe at night or any other time I sleep. My brain can actually shut down my breathing. Without this life-saving equipment, things could be fatal for me. Right now we are using a small generator to run my breathing devices and a fan. We are not using it for lights or refrigeration, etc. Life is dark to say the least.
Please help me with just $1 so that I'll be able to breathe again and get through this hot summer with my family.

If I'm fortunate enough to receive amounts exceeding this down payment, I will be finding a way to set up a fund to help others that have been put in similar situations and give some to the Lupus Foundation of America for continued research for a cure. I want to give back or pay it forward.
