My brothers surgery & medical bills

My brother has ankylosing spondylitis, he needs double hip-replacement surgery, and he needs to treat the AS. We have not done the surgery yet as we have not been able to raise the money for him to get treated for his AS, and such. He has had this since he was 15 years old and is in excruciating pain every day of his life, as his hip bones rub together in their socket. My brother would rather help buy shoes for his neices, than buy himself a shirt when he has holes it it. He is the MOST self- denying individual I know. He worked for years, even with the pain and now we have found a treatment center that will restore him, but it costs $40,000 and insurance won't cover it. He is only 33 years old. He is a talented artist and had his own construction company up until he could no longer walk. Now he is in bed every day...waiting.... PLEASE help.
         He helps so many people, and always puts their wellbeing before his own. He always looked out for me when we were kids and even now he worries about everyone else before himself.
