As some may or may not know, my daughter has been medically down for five years now. Through multiple doctors, hundreds of appointments and an array of misdiagnosis, she has suffered greatly. There is a new drug out there that we think and the doctor's think will hep her with her constant pain and speed healing. Sadly, insurance doesnt cover it and the first round is $6300 and then $1600 each round after that.
At times, she has had to use a wheelchair, a cane or not been able to leave her bed for days on end. She has been in constant pain for five years. My wife Tammy and I have burned all savings and every nickel possible to give her any comfort we can. We recently found a doctor that we are paying out of pocket for, that has finally given her a path to recovery, but its a long one. It will take her almost two years to recover.
During this time she has been homebound as she is highly sensitive to mold. Most schools have it, so thats not a possibility for her. She also has been the victim of many bullies that think she is faking being sick, which worsens her already depressed mood from being sick. Chronic Inflammatory response syndrome is what she is dealing with, to include brain inflammation (which obviously concerns us deeply as the brain controls every system).
To all the people that we will send this to and all the people who do not know us, please know this is not an easy ask for us. Everything so far for the last five years have been out of hide, and during this time and for many years before, Tammy and I supported every else's cause, benefit or time of need. We are asking now for our turn, for our daughter.
Any donation is welcomed and appreciated. We will run this campaign until we reach our goal to help her in her future endeavors.
