Kofi Aidoo Memorial Education Fund

Those who knew Kofi know he was a master of giving — giving his time, his patience, his friendship, and his love, to everyone around him. He managed to have a deeply personal relationship with anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with him — and for those who did, his loss is felt at a deeply personal level.  Kofi unexpectedly passed away on April 10, 2019. 

The stories and tributes from friends near and far paint a picture of a man who was a solid support system to an astounding number of people. In creating this memorial campaign, we hope to support his family in one small way, in appreciation of the countless ways he has supported so many of us. 

The campaign is raising education funds for Kofi and Lisa's children, Justice and Simone. Justice was about to enter public Pre-K in the fall, but with these funds Justice will be able to continue in his private school one more year, at a time when continuity seems important.  The funds will help to continue Simone's musical education now and in the future, which if you were able to attend the memorial, you saw how important this is to her.
