Klair & Dusty Casteen

Dusty and Klair Casteen, like many others, have fallen victim to the devastation of Hurricane Florence. Due to the flooding and severe weather in Rocky Point, NC they have lost their newly purchased home as well as all of their possessions. Together in this home, they have built their family, raising Dusty’s son Lucas, and are anticipating the birth of their first child together. 

Dusty, 38 , from Wilmington, NC and Klair, 28, from Wellsburg, WV met through their church, The Anchor. They married in 2016 and bought their first home just last year. Dusty and Klair both knew their calling in life was to help others! Every day they are activley helping in their community. Dusty is the co-founder and director of the church subsidiary, Switching Gears. Klair is the assistant director of The Hope Center, which is another affiliate of The Anchor. They both focus on helping the homeless, impoverished, and children of the area.
