Help Me Bring Yoga to my Small Town

A year and a half ago, my beloved and I decided to move from the most awesome Denver, CO to a small town in Western New York--Fredonia--which sits right along the shores of Lake Erie. We made the crazy move mostly for the change in lifestyle from city to small town, from crazy-expensive to more okay-I-can-breathe-affordable, but also for the adventure of moving somewhere we'd never even visited before to see what might happen. Our town sits about halfway between the cities of Buffalo, NY and Erie, PA. We're smack in the middle of grape growing country and this is a humble, or some might say econonomically depressed, area. A Big Mean Corporation swept in recently and bought out a sweet little hometown factory...then closed it to move elsewhere. This has happened with factory after factory after factory over the past few years, leaving thousands out of work and living an hour commute, either way, from the nearest city. But we love it here. It's a really magical place where community means something. And when Corporate America smacks us, we get right back up and keep trying. So, I want to bring yoga to this community that has stood proud, weathered every storm, but I need a little help. I am trained and certified as a yoga instructor, and have gone further to pursue certifications to teach yoga to kids, to seniors, to survivors, and to homeless youth, but I need an infusion of love (and cash!) to open my humble little community gathering space. I would so love a little help blowing air into this big balloon of a dream. I plan to work cooperatively with local food banks, low income services, and other places to make sure our space welcomes and is accessible to everyone, regardless of situation, because everyone deserves to breathe freely and bliss out in Savasana. Can you help me bring hope and breath and peace and community to this place that has given us so much already? My vow to you, as a contributor, is that I will PAY THIS FORWARD, every cent.
