Bobbi's Trip to Nicaragua

Donation protected
Hi I'm Bobbi. I am 23, and I am the owner of a small coffeehouse called the Spotted Cow Coffeehouse.

You're probably asking, "What's so special about a coffee shop?"

I was inspired to open The Spotted Cow for my younger brothers, Eric and Levi, who both have Down's syndrome. My overall vision is to give my brothers the ability to grow ambition with age, as I have. It is my eternal dream to create and fulfill the dreams of Eric and Levi.

Two weeks after graduation from college, I was blessed to open the doors of my coffee shop and provide jobs to my brothers and others with similar circumstances to build their occupational lives on our cornerstone aspects of quality, service, and opportunity.

Recently, I was offered the opportunity to take a trip to Nicaragua with our coffee roaster. The trip is a chance to gain knowledge on coffee agriculture. I will also be able to see the families and experience the hardships of growing coffee in a country less fortunate than ours. There are also farmers with physical handicaps, and I would like the opportunity to see their perseverence first-hand. In all, I want to be able to stretch the abilities of my servant heart while in Nicaragua, and teach what I have learned to my associates with developmental disabilities.

I agreed to go, and funds were orginally set. However, end of the year business expenses, a hard-drive-less computer, and my ailed '97 Honda Civic wiped some of my funds from my pocket. I have 9 days to raise $800! Can you help me reach it?
