Save Nursing Career

I am a nursing student in desperate need of some help. I recently received an email informing me that I no longer qualify for the Pell Grant because of a new law. In moments I saw my career going down the drain. I was forced to move 1,700 miles to attend college, away from my home, family, friends, and job to pursue my goal to be a nurse. I was working in Assisted Living with residents who had Alzheimer's. Working with them inspired me to pursue nursing and brought out my passion to help people. I fell in love with helping others and I believe in giving quality care, not just doing the bare minimum. With only a year and a half away from graduating with my BSN, it's getting very discouraging to be so close and possibly have to drop out because of money issues. I just want to finish school. I have been very responsible with my academics. I currently have a 3.6 GPA, and do not believe I am a victim to this situation. I can finish and will have no problem continuing my responsibilities. I am just in need of a little bit of help.

My parents have struggled to give me the best education and opportunities possible. I have approached my family and some close friends, but the amount I need is too much for them to handle, especially since I've been able to provide everything for myself for years up until now.

The amount I am asking for is for 2 semesters. It is tuition only. I can provide my own room and board. This amount does not include books. I am only asking for the portion I am not able to come up with myself just to be able to stay in school.
