Together we can pay cancer patient bills

I am a college student trying to become a therapist to help cancer patients and other life-threatening illnesses. This is to help me for the next phase of the budding charity that I run a called Kitten's Needle Work ,INC. Kitten's Needle Work makes hats , scarves, and blankets with the help of friends for children with cancer or life-threatening illnesses. This charity relies solely on philanthropy. Meaning that this is solely run with the help of volunteers who donate their time to make hats and pay for their supplies out of their own pockets unless we get a donation.
I want to expand and get my 501c3 non-profit license which will help us to develop more resources to help the patients and family members that we encounter. The cost to file the form is $1000 dollars, not including the cost having a business lawer take a look at it before we send it off. If we can just get the $1000 for that it would help us so much in the way of getting the form completed and sent before the end of the year.
The other $1000 to start a fund to pay for cancer patient's copays for their radiology scans.A radiology scan's (PET scan, CT, MRI) copay can cost anywhere for $3 to $5000 depending on their copay and if they have insurance. And if they cannot afford copay due financial reasons they can be turned away. Even over $3. PET scan requires you to fast for 2 days before you even do the scan. Imagine being turned away because you cannot afford it after fasting for that long.
I want to make sure that every patient in the Central Florida area will only have to focus on the test and getting well and not on can they afford the cost or copay of the scan! Help me reach my goal!
