Hello Beautifuls,
Today I have decided to start fundraising for a very important cause lucas's ( a black trans man )survival. Now alot of you will side eye me and that's ok its not about us its honestly about his life and survival. Lucas suffers from a mental illness called bpd(borderline personality disorder) It affects his whole life. Lucas was just diagnosed with this last year but has been affected by it his whole life. Heres the thing bpd causes him to struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts on the daily, and also causes him to disassociate alot . On top of that hes facing deportation from his home of 7+years Montreal, Canada (work visa expired) 1000 dollars. And he has service dog that he needs to get papers for 1000 dollars. Plus his living expenses and food and to start therapy treatment for his bpd 1000 dollars. Bc of his visa issues hes unable to travel to the USA ,which is how he makes a living. Here is where we come in I have over 5000 friends and 2000 plus followers on FaceBook and Instagram im asking for a dollar from atleast 3000 of you to help save his life. This outcry for help has no alterior motives attatched or manipulative intentions. Its purely to save his life. Hes done so much for me that im willing to fight for his life. I'm starting a go fund me for these reasons lucas has done some much not only for me but for the trans community by making us visible, and accepting and being ok to live in our truth. I have eye witness personally all the great things that he's done. but Lucas has hit a rough spot in life , like we all do. His life depends on this moment. because he suffers alot in silence, and in isolation he deals terribly with thoughts of suicide. And as we all know this is a serious thing. Especially in the Trans community. His life is so important not only to me but to the trans community as a whole. the National Gay and Lesbian
Task Force and National Center for Transgender Equality states,
that 41 percent, which vastly exceeds the 4.6 percent of
the overall U.S. population who report a lifetime suicide
attempt, and is also higher than the 10-20 percent
of lesbian, gay and bisexual and Trans adults who report ever attempting suicide.
As you can see this very serious. any one that knows me personally knows that im not good at begging. But im begging for help right now, not for me but for some one who is so important to me. im running out of options and the window to make these things possible is closing.
I need your help. If I have ever blessed you or been a blessing in your life, right now I ask that you you help me pay it forward to some one who really needs our help. For as you can see his life depends on it. You'd be surprise how far a Dollar stretches. and thats all im asking for is a dollar from 3000 people. This is so important to me . I dont know what I'd do if something happened to him. This is not about us its about his life. Please help me. He doesn't know im doing this. But his life is so important to me. Thank you for your understanding. Mental illness is real so is suicide and i cant bare the thought of him dying so i will fight with everything in me for his life. $1000- start the application fees for renewal of his work visa
$1000- So he can start therapy treatment for his bpd, and help with recent medical expenses, his living expenses. bc of his work visa expiring he cant travel and make money also because of his condition he cant work a regular job.
$1000- for his service dog (to keep montreal from murdering his dog a sweet pit bull by the name of whiskey from being put down. A dog that helops with his depression and anxiety this is a serious and big deal as he is alone )
Beautifuls understand this is near and dear to my heart . I'd ask for more but right now this could be a great start . please help with whatever you can.
