Kim's injury fund

If you haven't already heard, I got injured while working in July.  I sprained my right ankle pretty badly and am still suffering from the injury in more ways than one. You would think that Worker's Compensation would be taking care of me, however when you work for the Postal Office, things seem to be get shady.  I am not being billed for my doctor visits or for the MRI I had to go through or for the orthopedic boot that my foot is strapped into for most of the day, but I'm losing a alot of hours at work.
When working for the post office prior to my injury, I was getting 40+ hours a week. The job title is super physical, between driving an old mail truck, delivering mail by foot on certain routes, and the heavy parcels that need to be carried to various doors, I'm clearly limited to what I can do at work. I'm inside the office casing the mail in the morning, but that also means that I'm still on my feet despite my injury.  Sitting isn't really much of an option as it slows me down in terms of productitivty when I'm trying to ready parts of routes for the other carriers who are able to deliver. Also, if there isn't any mail to case because all of the routes are covered or no one left any junk mail lying around to case, that means no work for me.
I've gone down to as little as 12 hours on some weeks.  Also, the Department of Labor refuses to pay me for any wages lost because I'm "working".  I'm in a bind and as I've been struggling this whole time trying to pay mybills and living expeneses every month, now I run the risk of actually falling behind completely.
It's very difficult for me to put my pride aside and to call for help. I need this. My injury doesn't seem to be getting much better any time soon and I'm currently applying to new jobs as I'm not happy with my current job that got me in this mess to begin with.
Please find it in your hearts to help me out. Even if it's just a little. Every bit would help and I will be so greatful and appreciative of anything that you could give.
