As some of you know, the Iandolo family has been devastated by a horrific car crash that sent Kimberly Iandolo and her two daughters to hospital.
On Friday October 5, 2018 Kimberly Iandolo, her daughters and dog were heading out of the city when they were hit in a head on collision by another vehicle that had swerved into their lane. Kim was rushed to Foothills Hospital in serious condition, sustaining a severe ankle fracture, multiple lacerations, a fractured clavicle and multiple fractured ribs. Ciara, her youngest daughter, was rushed to the Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) in serious condition, sustaining a fractured clavicle. Josephine, her eldest daughter, was air lifted to ACH in critical condition, sustaining severe internal injuries and a fractured vertebrae. Their dog died at the scene.
As of October 10, Ciara was released from ACH and is healing at home with her Grandma. Kim remains in hospital and has had surgery to insert a plate into her ankle. As of October 11 Pina was brought out of her semi-induced coma and is coherent and alert. She remains in ICU and is in stable condition. So far her assessments suggests that all of her motor and cognitive functions are normal! But she has much healing ahead of her.
Due to her injuries Kim will be unable to physically care for her family nor return to work for some time. And we want for Gino to not have to worry about supporting his family financially while he is supporting his girls. With that, we are collecting donations to help this amazing family anyway we can. Together, we can do great things for this family!
