Kim Pratt's EMERGENCY heating fund.

Hello all, I am so embarrassed to even ask but I find myself in a very desperate and awkward situation and I can't even believe I am setting up this Go-Fund-Me account. It's very difficult for me to ask folks for money but I am so desperate for heat that I don't know what else to do. My heating system needs to be completely replaced and we can't get a loan or even a combination of loans for the 8,000 we need. It's so cold in my house that I am currently sitting holed up in my bedroom, under 3 blankets, hat, scarf and a space heater that is not working well enough to keep us warm. WE ARE COLD, to say the least.

I know the holidays are coming and it will be difficult to donate to my cause but any amount you could send would be extra appreciated. I am not one who looks for handouts. Normally I am the one to help others so this is so hard for me. 

The Army Emergency Relief folks have lent us some money but it comes nowhere near what we need to replace the heating unit.

I'm sorry if this makes anyone uncomfortable, but I am truly desperate.
