Kim Furner Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, August 18th, our dear friend and colleague, Kim Furner, was involved in a serious hit and run accident while biking. As a result, he needed surgery to fuse three vertebrae.
In the beginning it was unclear if he would ever walk again. Fortunately, he is on the road to recovery. He is currently in a rehab hospital working on building upper body strength so that he can move himself in and out of a wheel chair. He can now move his legs and will hopefully begin learning how to walk again.
As we all know, insurance won’t cover all of his medical expenses. Since the driver has not yet been identified, financial relief from the driver or his/her insurance is not an option. Kim has months of rehab ahead and will also require dental work to repair teeth that were broken in the accident.
Please donate what you can; no amount is too small. Share this notice with all friends and co-workers. Thank you!
