Kierans fund-International awards

Donation protected

Hi Guys, Thanks for looking at my profile.

This is not my usual thing but im going to give it a go.

Im trying to raise money to attend the 2016 International WOW service awards in London in November. I have been lucky enough to be named as a finalist out of 22,000 people worldwide and 1 of only 2 people in Australia.

This would be a huge thing for my career and I am truly humbled to even be nominated. I'm calling on all my friends to possibly help out with anything they can spare, that will help me on my way to the awards. The money raised would help in the purchase of airline ticket and accomodation.

Thanks again for helping out, I very much appreciate it.

Cheers, Kieran

WOW! AWARD FINALIST
Nomination Submitted By: Adam Rollins 21st Jun 2016

Good Morning Sarah, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Adam and i would like to pass on some feedback that i have encountered in your building recently and that i find exceptional. In late January my Mother Mandy and i came into the building to visit my brother who was a tenant in then he has relocated back to the U.K. My mum had been confined to a wheelchair due to an accident a few years back, she was also battling liver cancer and not doing too well. I left mum in the lobby while i popped out to the restroom. On return she was laughing away chatting with a young man Kieran from the front desk. This was a great sight to see as mum had been struggling lately and it was difficult to get a smile out of her. We exchanged pleasantries and we were on our way. We came back 3 days later for lunch with my brother and mum insisted on coming so she could see "The funny boy" as she called him. When we walked in the lobby Kieran came right over to us and greeted us with a genuine excitement to see mum. They chatted for a good 30 minutes about anything and everything. I had a chat with Kieran on the side and let him know what was kinda going on with my Mum. You could genuinely tell that he cared and politely offered if we need anything please let him know. I found this amazing, someone who doesnt really know us, not tenants of the building would show much care and respect. We exchanged numbers and off we went. To my surprise a week later i got a call from Kieran checking in to see how mum was doing. Kieran continued to call at least once a week to speak to mum and visited mum every other week bringing her flowers on every occasion. They chatted about everything from rugby too traveling to kids to even playing Uno. I understand Kieran has 2 little girls. My mum was 84 years old and i could tell how happy she was that someone would take the time out of their day when they didnt have too just to "see a silly old lady" as she would call herself. My mum passed away at the end of May after suffering for so long. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the last months of mums life were not sad, as i had not seen her so happy in long time after having chats and phone calls from Kieran. Kieran attended mums funeral and she would of been smiling knowing he was there. Its amazing to me how people can connect no matter what the age nor the time they knew each other and have a true positive outcome on someones life. I want you to know this as this is unbelievable show of love and care by one of your staff and something i nor my family will ever forget. I have relocated myself and kids back to the UK but will most definately stay in contact with Kieran. Sorry this is so long winded but it had to be shared.
