Kieran And Helena's Safety Net

Today, I lost my job at ComicsAlliance. Well, everyone who works there did, because the site is no longer a going concern. ComicsAlliance has been my full-time job and primary source of income for over a year, and the news of its closure came yesterday, so we've had the rug pulled out from us a little bit. To make things all that worse, my fiance Helena has been looking for work since Christmas and hasn't had the best luck.

I hate to come hat in hand, especially when there are other people, colleagues of mine, in the same position right now. The reason we have this GoFundMe is for one reason, and one reason only. Rent. I'll still get paid in April, but it'd be nice to have some sort of safety net to keep us going a bit longer if we need it, at least until we sniff out some job opportunies and land on our feet again.

ComicsAlliance was my dream job, and I'm proud of the work we accomplished there, and I'm sad to see it go. If you've got a spare dollar and can help us with a bit of piece of mind, that'd mean the world. If you can't,  don't worry about it, we still love you.
