Kids' Clothes Closet Refurbishment

UPDATE: Kids Closet is able to do so much with the $1000 we've raised. We have started accumulating quotes for actually replacing the floor (It is all in such bad shape) and converting the unusable bathroom into a janitor's closet. It's so nice to be able to use our existing funds to just help families. Thank you! I'm going to keep our fundraiser open until we begin to use the money. But know that we are still working with people to improve the facilities.
UPDATE: I'm humbly increasing our fundraising goal to be able to tackle the entire Storehouse West floor and, hopefully, get the bathroom repaired to operating order.
So that everyone knows where their money is going, I will post all invoices to the fundraising site and also ask KOB to do a follow up to show the wonderful things that happened in response to your donations.
I volunteer at the Storehouse West Kids' Clothes Closet, which provides limited free clothing to kids in need in Rio Rancho. We have great clients who are so appreciative; fantastic kids who love "shopping" for used clothing and books. The Kids' Clothes Closet has gotten very dingy over the years and Storehouse West does not have the resources to make it a more presentable, respectful place for clients. While most of the work and materials can be done or donated by volunteers, we cannot do the refurbishment of our very old floor. A good friend owns a flooring company and can do it for the cost of supplies and paying the employee at $360. If you are compelled to help us make the Kids Closet a nicer place for these grateful kids, please donate to our floor refurbishment fund.
