Hello everyone,
My name is Katherine Chapman-Hill, known as Kate to some. I am a loving 44 year old wife, mother, sister and daughter. I am also a kidney donor to my sister Jamie who suffers from Severe Nephrotic Syndrome and has kidney function at only 12%.
Unfortunately, the surgery will take place in New York and I live in Michigan. So, I am asking for help in travel expenses, lodging, lost wages and any other expenses that I might incur.
I am eternally grateful for any help no matter how small anyone can give.
Any money not used, will be donated to other living donors fundraisers.
Surgery will take place at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center this Spring.
