Kidney Donation Expenses

In February of this year, Istarted a journey to donate a kidney to my coworker Jessica Frysz, who has been on dialysis since she was an infant. Unfortunately, our tissue types were not compatible. Along the way, I also met Jenniene Moran, another dialysis patient - we also are not compatible. I was offered the chance to still donate thru an exchange program...I donate my kidney to another person in need that I am compatible with, and someone else donates in my place . I was cleared thru Johns Hopkins Transplant Center in Baltimore to donate this winter.
All medical expenses are covered by the donor program, but travel, hotel, etc (Baltimore is 7 hours away) as well as time off work are at my own expense. 
I can afford the time off work, but expenses on top of that will be a struggle. I appreciate any assistance.
By law, organ donors CANNOT financially benefit from donating. If for any reason donations exceed my actual expenses, any residual will be in turn donated to Jessica's medical fund.
