My name is Nathan Sanford, I along with my parents and a couple of key employees, make up my salsa and pepper jelly company, The Grumpy Man LLC, in Purvis, Mississippi.  Susannah Hood began working for Grumpy Man in 2017 after a chance meeting at a local farmer's market.  Susannah's bubbly personality and strong work ethic quickly became an integral part of our company's sales and marketing efforts.

In January of 2019 Susannah was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 32.  Fortunately Susannah does have medical insurance, but copays and deductibles are adding up quite quickly.   Although she is very determined to work and we are finding creative ways to accommodate her needs, there are limits to how much she can physically do after having a double mastectomy at the beginning of February.

Starting in March she will be undergoing chemo treatment for the next four months, followed by a month of radiation.

All donations made here will go towards helping pay the medical bills as they come in.

Thanks in advance for helping out!
