Kickin’ Colon Cancer to the Curb

Most know this guy, as Richard Bethel, Big Cup and Uncle, our favorite Nassau, Bahamas guy! He’s a giver of his time,his energy, his laughter, his kindness, his compassion and his heart. Richard has most recently been diagnosed with colon cancer and will soon be undergoing a multitude of tests, procedures and surgery, without the benefit of health insurance. Richard experienced a cancerous diagnosis many years ago and because it’s considered a pre-existing illness, he has never been able to obtain affordable health insurance for any other medical needs. I’d like for him to concentrate on focusing every bit of his energy, on fighting the fight head on, without the added burden of financial worries. We’ve only today, received the news, but he will quickly begin treatment in a week or so. Please share this request with your friends and his, as we all know there are so very many. Donations are mere gifts and I’m certain you all find him more than deserving. It takes a village. The goal has been established for $25k and we are in hopes that will cover his needs as he moves forward. If we see that additional funds are required, we’ll push for more when that time comes.
