Support Barb's Kibera Kids

Donation protected
Help support Barb Harrison`s work in the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya. In 2009 Barb, untrusting of large charities, headed solo to the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya, with $10,000 of her own savings, to see how she could "give back". Within 2 days she was working with a TAPA (Transform a Person Africa) school, on projects to make the school and the community around it self-sustainable. She also became involved with an orphanage, raising funds to build a greenhouse and chicken farm to support the children. She is dedicated to the community and dreams of building a boarding school (she has already purchased the land). If you don't already know Barb, read her story at www.youbetican.com. This is Barb's pledge to you: "100 percent of money raised for my Kenyan projects is directed to the cause. I use my own money for all my personal travel and expenses. I keep a documented record:I can provide this to anyone interested."
