Help Family & Friends for Wedding

Hi everyone,
Our relationship has been a special one from the very beginning. Both coming from different parts of the world, we met each other during both of our study abroad adventures in a small town in Michigan, USA, where we fell in love and began this relationship. As students, the two of us had to go back to our home countries (Ecuador and Germany) where we have been bound to finish our studies.
Hence, we have been in a long distance relationship from the very beginning, managing it to be together as often as possible, which regularly included time periods of 4 months without being next to each other.
This year, we will get married in August, which means that we will put an end to the distance, and finally start our life together at the same place. This place will be Germany, and we decided to get married in Ecuador. Consequently, we put our friends and family from abroad in the situation to pay a lot for the flights in order to be present at the wedding. Given the fact that most of our friends are still students or just finished their studies, it is not easy for them to afford this amount (not to mention that some already said they will not be able to make it).
Hence, we want to show our gratitude for all their devotion and support for us, and try to help them financially. That´s why we are asking you for your support to help our family and friends with their travel expenses.

Unsere Beziehung war etwas Besonderes vom ersten Augenblick. Wir kommen von zwei verschiedenen Kontinenten und haben uns während unseres Auslandstudiums an einem kleinen College in Michigan (USA) kennen gelernt. Da wir noch Studenten waren, mussten wir anschließend wieder zurück in unsere Heimatländer (Ecuador und Deutschland).
Seitdem führen wir eine Fernbeziehung, in der wir uns in regelmäßigen Abständen für 4-6 Monate nicht sehen konnten.
Dieses Jahr werden wir im August heiraten, wodurch wir endlich unser gemeinsames Leben an einem Ort beginnen können. Dieser Ort wird Deutschland sein und die Hochzeit findet in Ecuador statt. Dadurch versetzen wir allerdings auch unsere Familie und Freunde in die Lage, die Flüge nach Ecuador zu bezahlen, um bei der Hochzeit anwesend zu sein. Da die meisten unserer Freunde noch Studenten sind oder gerade erst ihr Studium abgeschlossen haben, ist es nicht einfach für sie, diese Kosten aufzubringen.
Aus diesem Grund wollen wir ihnen unsere Dankbarkeit für Ihre Unterstützung dadurch zum Ausdruck bringen, dass wir ihnen finanziell unter die Arme greifen. Und dafür bitten wir euch um eure Unterstützung, denn alleine schaffen wir das nicht.
