Keys to the Classroom - Let's get muddy

Sometimes, something comes along and you think – yeah, we’ll have some of that. Well, that ‘thing’ happened last year when we decided to support the education of eight girls in Cambodia.

They’re an amazing bunch. The daughters of farmers and factory workers, ranging from 10 years old to 19 years old. Alongside paying for classes, they need books, uniforms, and transport. Education won't only change their lives, but the lives of their families and communities.

We were not the only ones to say yes – the entire company did, but we’re the only ones stupid enough to take on the Tough Mudder Classic to raise some cash.

So, how much does it cost to get one of the girls through school or university for the year? About £700, which is the amount the seven of us are looking to raise through this event.

It’s about 10 miles long and contains 25 obstacles – full of water, mud, teamwork and, we hope, a year of education for one of the girls at the end of it.
