Baseball for Veterans, baseballlife
I myself am a 5 tour combat Vet that struggled (heavily) when I returned home. I found three things that saved me
Ive played/coached/managed an 18 and up team since Ive returned from my last deployment in 2010. Every year since, ive contacted other Veterans to get them to come out. Its interesting with varying talent levels but its a bond and brotherhood and we get to play baseball. It costs 220 dollars per player(based off a 20 man roster) and then there are bats, gear and jerseys to buy.
Any funding would be greatly help offset the costs of playing a sport we not only love, but it could provide a chance for someone to play that might not be able to afford it.
Thank you in advance for anyone that can help
also, you can add me on facebook to follow our team this season, last year we finished third!!
Thanks again to all who have donated, please come out Sunday march 20th and see the smiles of opening day!
1:30 at camp jordan
Opening day is March 20th at 1:00 at camp Jordan. We will have all 8 teams playing on four fields come see some quality baseball
Come on! Little help now
Hi Billy, Let me know when you're ready to set up a site for this. I won't charge you to help set up. I can recommend the right tech to get your site going quickly and with minimal effort. I can also make some recommendations for 2-factor authentication and other security features. Feel free to browse my profile and when you're good and ready I would like to add your organization to ReviveAWarrior's Directory. Best of luck!
I wasn't on a team last year..I've been to some games watching family play.
