Hi everyone! :) We're getting married next spring and we would gratefully accept any gift you might feel moved to make to support our 20-day honeymoon to England, Wales, and Scotland.
We've wanted to go there together ever since we found out that we'd both had the same photo of Glencoe, Scotland as our desktop wallpaper in high school.
Your gift would go toward helping with our flights, food, lodging, and trains and busses around the UK. We're not ones for extravagant entertainment; our main activity during the trip will be walking over hills, looking at other hills. Just that will leave us full to bursting with joy.
We have already been so profoundly blessed by the love and support of family and friends. It would mean the world to us to have you be a part of our journey as we set off in life together.
A bit about us: we met on May 30, 2013, in Brooklyn (where Paul is from), introduced by a very dear mutual friend (Paul's closest friend since the second grade). We bonded over a shared sense of humor, deep interest in Buddhism, and a love of discussing and learning about human nature, philosophy, literature, religion, and culture. We quickly discovered that we were both committed to living a thoughtful life guided by principles such as compassion, gratitude, faith, kindness, and curiosity. We are so excited to be married and sail off into that life together. Thank you for reading our story. :) <3
