OUR STORY:
The Kerr County Celtic Festival, promoted by the Kerr County Celtic Association (a 501 c 3 non-profit corporation), attracts a varied crowd of all ages from the local surroundings and also visitors to the City of Ingram and the Texas Hill Country area. The Festival features a sanctioned Highland Dance Competition and a Scottish Highland Games, both of which attract entries from across Texas and the surrounding states. There's musical entertainment, dancing, archery, Vikings, artisans demonstrating their wares and skills, and, of course, Pipes and Drums. The event will also introduce a ‘Children’s Glen,’ where the younger crowd can participate in various crafts and also athletic events.
This is an event which offers fun for the whole family, with a chance to sample the food, visit vendors, and learn the history of the Celtic Nations.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Each year the Kerr County Celtic Festival has grown and we expect that it will continue to grow, but we need your help immediately. We are a completely volunteer organisation and need donations to cover operating costs, such as facility and equipment deposits, and storage rentals.
Any and all donations, of any size, will be really appreciated and will go directly to the Festival operations.
Please help.
