Hi Everyone!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my go fund me page and find out more about me, my team and the cause I am fundraising for!
My biggest passion in life is travel, and to explore the world - a very close second is working with young people and supporting them to grow, learn and become the best version of themselves they could possibly be! By some miracle I have been given another chance to combine the two and me and my team need your support to get us to Kenya and help in schools and educational settings in Nakuru!
I currently manage the amazing NCS programme at Notts County FITC - NCS is a national programme for young people aged 15-17 that allows them to challenge themselves, gain independence and a greater understanding of the world and responsibility. It encourages them to mix socially and make a positive impact in their local communities through raising awareness of great causes, fundraising for local charities and volunteering their time! Once they complete the programme they have the chance to stay involved with NCS and go to Africa to continue to challenge themselves but, also continue to volunteer and make a difference but - overseas!
So how can you help? The young people going on this trip have worked hard to fundraise for their places but we have a small way to go - the group leaves on 6th April 2019.. as a final fundraising push I have created this page in the hope people will donate generously to an amazing cause that will make a difference to young people locally - and in part of the most deprived countries in the world!
However if we can’t tempt you to give generously, just because, then for every £1 you donate we will enter you into a raffle to win one of the following football prizes:
⚽️- Signed Notts County shirt 18/19 team
⚽️- Signed Mansfield Town shirt 18/19 team
⚽️- Signed Mansfield Town Ball 18/19 team
Here’s the bonus.. we know the local rivalries so when you donate please specify which item you would like to be in the draw for and we will make sure you are entered for that prize! Then you can be sure you don’t end up with a prize you don’t want ♀️
