Kenya trip with mend the gap 2019

Hello, my name is Eloise Fairhurst and I am currently a year 11 student.
In July 2019 I will be travelling out to Kenya with my school and with the local charity mend the gap. http://www.mendthegap.org.uk . Mend the gap is exactly what it says- we are mending the gap between cultures and teaching but also learning new things! We will travel over to Kenya and help in schools in places such as Kisi and Nairobi to educate, make friends, help out but also have fun with these amazing people at the same time.
Your donations will go towards this life changing opportunity (plane ticket, transport, accommodation, vaccinations ect. )But also buying some supplies such as toys and games, clothes and reusable sanity items for me to take over for the children in the schools we shall help in but also for their families.
On the side I am also doing fundraising in school and events outside of school to help pay for my ticket. Such as; afternoon teas and selling seasonal hand made gifts. I can't wait to take part in this amazing experience but also being given the chance to be able to appreciate their culture and help these amazing, inspirational people in anyway I can. Any donation is hugely appreciate and I can't thank anyone enough for any of their donations.
